How to start training at F.A.S.T.
Athletic Assessment:
All athletes go through a comprehensive personal assessment and analysis prior to F.A.S.T. making any type of training recommendations and starting a training program.
The assessment is sport specific and very complete with evaluation of upper and lower body strength and explosion power, body composition, foot speed, acceleration, deceleration, raw speed, agility, flexibility and muscular elasticity, muscle endurance and fatigue factor, core strength and recruitment, propreioception and more. Assessment are video taped and analyzed by our computer analysis system to help understand to overall athletes strengths and weakness.
Follow up consultation and anaylsis:
The assessment is followed a few days later with a meeting with the athlete and parents and sometimes the coach to show what all was found during the assessment, to set training goals and to make training recommendations. A service quote is given to you at this meeting to show you the total cost of the recommended training plan.
Training types and levels:
General Speed Training: There are several levels and types of speed training.
EXCEL Level Training: (F.A.S.T. has 9 levels of excel training from level 1 beginner excel participants up to professional athletes in level 9.
F.A.S.T. has Excel level training for football, basketball, baseball, softball, swimming, hockey, wrestling, volleyball, cross country, track (all events), tennis, rugby, golf, soccer, cheerleading, gymnastics, dance.
Includes functional strength and explosion training, stabilizer muscle and propreioception training, balance & stability training, hip development, jump training, all aspects of speed training, foot speed training, Core training, muscle endurance and cardio capacity development, quick muscle twitch stimulation, dartfish training, and a complete personalized sports nutrition plan.
Excel training comes in packages including pre-assessment, analysis consultation, personalized nutrition plan, nutrition consultation with sports nutritionist, and 18, 24, 36 or 60 training sessions and a post assessment at conclusion of training package.
